boston–(business wire)–Fidelity Charitable®, an independent public charity and the largest US funder, today announced “Art of Generosity,” an original non-fungible token (NFT) project designed to celebrate generosity. This charity collection is the latest example of Fidelity Charitable’s continued commitment to innovation in giving. This project sheds light on the power of generosity through the lens of art created by 12 diverse photographers, illustrators, muralists, digital artists and more.
To encourage acts of personal generosity, the Mint’s 50 participants will receive a “Golden Ticket” NFT. This allows the owner to endorse her $1,000 donation through Fidelity Charity.® give an account® to an eligible non-profit organization of their choice. In total, the project will bring her $50,000 in support to charities by Fidelity Charity to the community’s chosen charity, making minting completely free.
NFTs are encrypted property such as artwork on the blockchain, with unique identification codes and metadata that distinguish them from each other. Participants will be able to cast two of her creations and are encouraged to share one for their own collection and one for his with friends. The art will be revealed and the Golden Ticket winner will be announced on Tuesday, November 29th.
