Together, the two organizations will launch new ways for the sports community, athletes and brands to interact with each other within their own virtual environments. This environment will be specially developed around the facilities of the upcoming Discovery Sporting event. As a first step, Discovery Sports Events and Infinite Reality preview a unique Metaverse experience at the upcoming UCI Track Champions League. This is a revolutionary new series launched last year to improve track cycling.
This partnership marks the first time Warner Bros. Discovery Sports has harnessed the potential of Web3 technology for a European sports property by bringing an international event experience to the Metaverse.
