Ranbir Kapoor film goes on floors in Mumbai, THIS top Telugu filmmaker roped in to write dialogues for regional version

Ramayana, is the movie which is being talked about hugely ever since it was announced. It seems the film has gone on floors today in Mumbai. The first scene is the Gurukul scene. Shots of a set made in Film City are doing the rounds all over. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi will reportedly shoot in India and London over the next 60 days. The primary cast is Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Shree Ram, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Yash as Raavan. Leaked pics of the sets are doing the rounds all over social media. Ramayana makers to rope in this top Telugu filmmaker?

It is a pan-India movie, and will be released in South Indian languages as well. The makers have approached Trivikram Srinivas to pen down the dialogues in Telugu language. He is one of the leading directors down South known for his hits like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Aaravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and more. It is being reported that he is being considered to write down the dialogues for the same. Coincidentally, in a conversation with Chiranjeevi, Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had said that Trivikram is one of the best writers of the industry. Ramayana to be a landmark project for Indian cinema

The movie will be made like a trilogy. The first part will end with the kidnapping of Maa Sita. It is being produced by Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari. DNEG, which has done VFX for movies like Dune and Interstellar is overseeing the visuals of the movie. A major portion will be filmed in London. The recent reports suggest that Sushmita Mukherjee has been brought on board as Manthara who sowed the evil thoughts in the mind of Kaikeyi.

The other casting includes Harman Baweja as Vibhishan, Sakshi Tanwar as Mandodari, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha as per reports.
