Gaurav Khanna reveals he lost 5-6 kgs for Anuj’s look post leap; wife Akanksha calls him the trendsetter

Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa is winning hearts. The show began in 2020 and is at the top of the TRP charts since the beginning. Gaurav Khanna entered Anupamaa later as Anuj Kapadia. But today, one cannot imagine Anupamaa without Anuj Kapadia. Gaurav has been amazing as Anuj and he has received all the love for his performance. Gaurav has a massive fan following today. He is one of the best actors of telly town. People have loved his looks as Anuj Kapadia. His personality, dashing outfits and everything about Anuj Kapadia is just classy. Post the leap in the show, we saw Anuj looking very young. Now, Gaurav Khanna was spotted at the Iftaar party organised by Anupamaa producer Rajan Shahi. The party happened on the sets of the show. Gaurav was seen there with his real life wife, Akanksha Chamola. He spoke to Telly Chakkar about his looks. Akanksha and Gaurav talk about Anuj Kapadia’s looks

Akanksha was asked if she liked Anuj’s pre-leap look or post leap look. Akanksha said that she liked Gaurav’s entry as Anuj in the show. She said that nobody can beat the look Gaurav had when he entered Anupamaa as Anuj. However, she also liked the younger look that Anuj has now.

Gaurav said that the look he had in the beginning is not repeated in many shows and that is why he keeps doing something new. Hence, he does not want to repeat the look he had when he started the show. Gaurav shares he always tries to have a new look as an actor.

Gaurav lost 5-6 kgs for his new look in Anupamaa

Gaurav added that Rajan Shahi told him that he has to look young, dashing and very different from what he looked when he entered the show. Gaurav was waiting for Rajan Shahi to say this and he started working on his look. He revealed that he lost the 5-6 kgs he had gained for Anuj Kapadia’s look in the beginning.

He got back to his original shape and he is loving this look. However, Gaurav said that even this new look as become common so he will find something new now.
