Shoaib Ibrahim’s participation in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, which also featured contestants like Manisha Rani, Shiv Thakare, and many others, often became the talk of the town. While some stated that the makers were biased towards Shoaib, many believed that the Sasural Simar Ka actor’s dance performances clearly did not meet the show’s standards. Another accusation against Shoaib Ibrahim was how his wife Dipika Kakar frequently appeared on the show, sometimes with food items and sometimes with her son Ruhaan. A section of people felt that Dipika was doing all this to impress the judges and garner more votes and love for her husband. Now, Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Manisha Rani, who ultimately lifted the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 trophy, states if Dipika’s actions were indeed to impress the judges. Did Dipika Kakar try to impress Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 judges to make Shoaib Ibrahim win?

During Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, Dipika Kakar often used to visit the sets and bring biryani and other food items for judges Farah Khan, Malaika Arora, and Arshad Warsi. In fact, Shoaib and Dipika also made their son Ruhaan’s debut on stage during one of Shoaib’s performances. All this and much more led to talks that Dipika was leaving no stone unturned to impress the judges for Shoaib’s win. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, when Manisha Rani was asked about the above speculation, she stated that the biryani was for judges and how she never ate biryani. She mentioned that every decision by the judges was right. She also accepted that Shoaib was Farah Khan’s favourite, which was completely fine as every judge has a favourite contestant. Manisha mentions that it’s their job to impress judges. Even if someone is feeding them or buttering them up, there’s nothing wrong with it. She further states that as Dipika is Shoaib’s wife and is currently staying at home, it was possible for Dipika to do the things she did on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Shoaib Ibrahim, along with Manisha Rani and Adrija Sinha, were among the top 3 finalists of the show. However, it was Manisha Rani who eventually lifted the trophy.
