Imtiaz Ali brought Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone together for the second time after their break up. It was for Tamasha. Fans have loved Ranbir and Deepika together in movies and they were pretty excited about this one too. However, Tamasha did not perform really well at the box office. Over time, though, the film has become one of the classic movies that they would love to go back to. Several scenes from Tamasha have been a highlight of the movie. One such scene is the ending scene between Tara and Ved. Imtiaz recently spoke about the same.

Imtiaz Ali opens up on Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s chemistry in Tamasha, especially, in the ending scene

The Amar Singh Chamkila director talked about the emotional climax between the two characters. He recollects shooting at a studio where they had built a stage. Imtiaz Ali spoke about how Ranbir Kapoor entered from one place and Deepika Padukone entered from another place. Later, they both were in such close proximity. Imtiaz Ali also adds, “People feel that these people (Ranbir and Deepika) had an affair with each other, but beyond that for the life of an actor, there is a love for performing with each other, which is very important and significant.” The Rockstar director also shared that sometimes two actors also love to act with each other and added that Ranbir and Deepika have that in them.
