Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt who recently made heads turn at MET Gala this year with her floral saree look made everyone go weak in the knees with her princess look. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, Alia revealed that she is inspired by a numbers of cultural icons including Taylor Swift, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and more stars.

Alia Bhatt said that she admires Kate Winslet for her incredible range and resilience. She looks up to Taylor Swift, who turns every experience into heartfelt music. Alia said she feels inspired by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who chartered her own course and took her journey globally when no one was even thinking about it. She said that she even gets inspired by Kareena Kapoor Khan who is iconic in every way, and Shreya Ghoshal whose voice just elevates every word and rhythm given to her.
Alia said that these women embrace their journeys with ease. She was asked how is she getting prepared for the next few years in the industry. To which, Alia said that she continues to push into new creative territories, aiming to engage with the audience on deeper levels. She also said that she wants to challenge herself and wants to contribute more to her characters.

Alia made her Hollywood debut in Heart of Stone and is all set to be seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra which will also star Vedang Raina. The film will hit the theatres on September 27, 2024. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
