Validation & performance evidence

This page separates what GodzillaBTC currently measures from what has not yet been independently or forward verified. The purpose is to make the evidence boundary explicit.

Signal model: currently measured

The signal engine compares current multi-factor setups with stored historical candles and can measure whether the defined target was reached before the defined stop over the model horizon. It also tracks sample size, market regime and expectancy for comparable historical setups.

Important: this is historical model validation, not an audited live trading record.

EA: backtest publication status

The current MT5 EA source has undergone code review and safety revisions, but GodzillaBTC does not yet publish an independently verified MT5 performance track record. A genuine report should use broker-quality data, realistic costs and out-of-sample testing before performance claims are made.

Testing standard for the MT5 EA

Our intended test process uses MetaTrader 5's real-tick mode where available, includes spread/commission assumptions, evaluates multiple markets and time periods, and reports drawdown, profit factor, expectancy, trade count and losing streaks—not just net profit.

MetaQuotes documents “Every tick based on real ticks” as the mode closest to recorded broker tick conditions. See the MQL5 Strategy Tester documentation.

What we do not claim

  • No guaranteed profit or guaranteed win rate.
  • No claim that historical probability equals future probability.
  • No claim that a backtest can eliminate execution, regime or broker risk.
  • No claim that the EA is suitable for every account, broker or instrument.

What will be published when available

When a sufficiently documented MT5 backtest/forward-test exists, the site should publish the tested symbol, timeframe, date range, data mode, spread/commission assumptions, trade count, profit factor, maximum drawdown, expectancy and whether the result is in-sample or out-of-sample.
