Sumbul Touqeer’s father takes strict legal action against trolls; ‘Cases are registered’

Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon actress Sumbul Touqeer’s father, Touqeer Hasan Khan, in a bold move has taken strict legal action against the social media trolls who have constantly defamed his family, especially his daughter, television actress Sumbul Touqeer. Sumbul and her family have always been at the receiving end of trolls, especially since she participated in Bigg Boss 16. Sumbul’s father was also mercilessly trolled for his recent second marriage. Sumbul Touqeer’s father takes strict legal action against trolls

Sumbul Touqeer came to the limelight when she portrayed the character of Imlie in the show with the same name. She later participated in Bigg Boss 16. Post that, she was severely trolled for having an immature personality and her fallout with co-star Fahmaan Khan. In fact, it was Sumbul’s father who was blamed for interfering too much in her daughter’s life, due to which Fahmaan and Sumbul’s friendship was jeopardized. After being silent on back-to-back massive trolling, Sumbul’s father yesterday (April 9) took to his official X (formerly known as Twitter) account and uploaded the below post where he clearly stated that he is done with all the social media users defaming him and his family, and how he has already sent legal notices to all the trolls. Sumbul’s father gained recognition when he appeared in a few episodes of Bigg Boss 16 to support his daughter. He was severely bashed for using derogatory remarks against Tina Dutta. In fact, Fahmaan Khan in one of his old interviews, while revealing about what went wrong with Sumbul, took a sly dig at Sumbul’s father for interfering too much in her daughter’s life.

It is good to see that celebrities are no more taking all the criticism and trolls in a light manner and are actually taking strict actions against them.
